"Fidget Spinner" Nook Miles island no longer appearing?

For the last few days, I've been spending NMT hunting for Raddle on mystery islands. As of last night, I've gone on 198 tours and counting. For no particular reason, I've also been taking notes on what villagers I've encountered and on what islands I've found them on.

Looking over my spreadsheet last night, I realized that I have not been to "Fidget Spinner" island even once in the almost 200 tickets I've spent. It's island number 4 on this list. There are certain rare islands I have not been to yet (looking at you, hybrid island), but this one is apparently a common island with a 9% encounter rate.

The last time I remember getting fidget spinner island on a tour was several weeks ago.

Has anyone recently been to fidget spinner island? Am I just super unlucky or has it been removed from the pool of possible islands?

Oh, thank you! I didn't know that. That explains why I haven't found hybrid island, at least. ^^

What the hell? So they removed both islands that provided hybrid flowers?

unfortunately yes, it looks like hybrid flower island is gone for now.

The only thing I can think of is now that Leif is in the game, it's easier to get all of the flower types. So they probably expect you to grow (or trade for) your own.

Except they adjusted the spawn rates of the other islands, making islands that used to be profitable more rare. Those islands also only had your primary and sister flower (which Leif never carries).

It is as you said they expect you to trade or breed your own. Still when they make chances like this without announcing it, it shows a lack of faith in people that play your games and seems dishonest.

It's kind of annoying if they are going to patch out specific islands that they didn't patch in new ones. Like if it's now even rarer to get the nice profitable islands, at least make it so the generic junk islands are a little more aesthetically different somehow.
