Feng Shui vs. Sets

What do you find more important in your main room?
And how much should you invest in Feng Shui, like in all rooms (except basement)?

I was all about Feng Shui when i first started. That was when i didnt really have full sets, but as i got the full sets that i liked i kind of forgot about feng shui and just placed things how i wanted them if that makes sense. D:

Did this influence your luck in any noticeable way?

I did Feng Shui in pretty much all rooms while I was going for my HHA points. Once I had gotten enough points (to get all the gold exterior) I stopped caring. I still have a little bit of Feng Shui in some of my rooms that don't change, but I haven't noticed any difference.

Not that i could tell tbf, but then again i wasnt too interested in playing than actually assuming i was lucky and what not.

I have Feng Shui. All of my furniture is arranged by color, and each of my rooms have lucky cats, toads, and clovers.

Will refurbishing furniture into a red/yellow/green colour, affect Feng Shui?

The pieces of the Modern set can be changed so I'm thinking of giving them their Feng Shui colour, depending on where I placed them in my room.

I arrange first by Feng Shui, then by set. I have noticed an immediate effect on my luck -- the easiest way to test it is to sit down on chairs in your house. Better luck = no fart when you sit down.

Feng shui is secondary for me, but if I have something in one of the three colours that I want to display, I'll place it correctly, unless that would bother me. So my feng shui score isn't great. I used to have enough green to get all 8 money bags/gems from the money rock. But I must have changed something recently, because I keep only getting 7, despite not pausing when I hit the rock.

are you sure? What chair are you using? I thought only certain chairs made that noise, such as the froggy chair.

The HHA score came in today. Yesterday (full Modern set + wallpaper + carpet) 63.000 points. Today, without the ugly carpet and a missing furniture piece I had only 25.000 points. Lyle didn't comment on any Feng Shui aspects in my main room but I did paint everything accordingly to it's Feng Shui position. Guess I should wait some days.

Or I got the lower score because I messed up the Color Bonus? If everything is the same colour you get +600 points per furniture piece. that would explain the high 60.000 score.
