feeling like redoing my island.... for the third time

When I first got the game, I placed everything in wrong places, nothing was aligned properly, I liked bc it was what I had from the start and I grew attached, but it wasn't it. So I gambled on the turnips game, took everything out and redid it. My idea was to make a medieval island, so I did. When I finished, I was pleased with it for like two days when an idea came to me in a dream (lol) on how I could improve on the medieval theme. From there, I just straight made every flat, move all the houses, and terraformed the heck out of it. Now, one month later, I finally did almost everything I wanted to do. Yey... Shouldnt I be excited tho....
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE how my island look now. But I miss decorating, terraforming.... And the medieval theme probably is getting old.

Does someone else feel like you can never be satisfied?
Also, should I just put this game down and play minecraft or the sims or whatever? Probably.

I feel like I am in a constant state of redoing my island. I know I won’t be satisfied but at the same time having a goal of “this isn’t finished” is also satisfying? Like, I know content is going to keep coming out anyways. That’s just how I look at it to justify it? I also really enjoyed decorating and terraforming so I don’t envy you for feeling “done”. I have too many ideas to be contained to one island!!

Minecraft and Sims might take the itch off, yeah, haha

exactly! I love putting the console down to go to sleep and think "okay tomorrow ill decorate there terraform there etc etc" and finishing rly will leave a hole on my day that I don't think that can be filled by just watering flowers, doing the event and gifting fruits to villagers haha I also have way to many ideas and I like seeing pinterest and watching videos so I keep getting more inspiration. I played minecraft on creative during the waiting drought for AC to come out so I may play sims now while I wait for a big event that will "force" me to make changes.

I say if you enjoy terraforming, go for it! I personally hate terraforming. My island looks awful and I wish I could bring myself to "fix" it but I just get so frustrated.

So, my idea now is to put it off and just not change for now. I will farm money so I can do a lot of changes in the future.
One thing that I dislike about my island theme is that because it's medieval, I don't use a single eletronic furniture except for radios. Also I want to have more space for my villagers and give them backyards because they are my favorite thing about this game. But for now I'll play the sims to ease my needs for decorating

aww sorry to hear that!! I am sure it looks break though. I think terraforming is really relaxing but I can see why people hate it.
