Feeling conflicted right now...? I need your opinions

So after about 2 hours of resetting. I finally came across a map that ticked off most of what I was looking for.

- south/east river
- land outlet in the bottom edge
- resident services in the center (being dead center in my island, would i come across any issues with this in the future?)
- heart pond (is this something special or would i be able to create a heart shaped pond with terraforming later on?)

However one BIG draw back that makes me want to think about resetting is pears are the native fruit.

Also, there's no sign of perfect fruit right?

Both? Like I can’t seem to win with this lol. whenever i’m happy with the layout i seem to always get pears

I'd keep it. You can always change the pear trees overtime. Unless the pears on your passport is bad for you too.

It's really up to you. If pears being your native fruit is gonna bother you, then you might wanna reset. It's better to reset now than in the future when you have a lot of progress.. that's when you'll really regret it. Trust me!

You're right. Ugh I realized that having the native fruit I want is top priority for me because if it wasn't then I shouldn't even be having this issue right now. Thanks guys I'm gonna go ahead and reset.

I know it sucks, I found a super cool map earlier as well that I really loved.. and bam, pears. I was conflicted too but I ultimately decided to reset because we can change the layout of our maps later, but we can't change our native fruit.

I hope you can find a map that's just as good with the fruit you want. Good luck friend!

They're just not as cute and "aesthetic" as the other fruits, I suppose. I love pears irl! They're delicious, but they're green with brown spots so they look kind of ugly to some people. Therefore, most prefer cuter fruits like peaches and cherries.

But you can chop down all your pear trees and plant whatever you like anyway...?
For me a good map is more important as some things can't be changed and I probably won't terraform too much.
But to each their own, that's what makes AC so interesting because everybody has the ability to play in whatever way they prefer
