Favourite ace attorney characters?

I think they are all pretty good. Or least serve their purpose well enough.
If I had to pick favorites though, I guess I'd say: Phoenix Wright, Trucy, Godot, Edgeworth, Franziska von Karma, Gumshoe, and Lotta Hart. Ugh, fighting the urge to make the list even longer...
Although tbh I was never a really fan of the Fey family members except for Iris. I guess Mia is okay.

Ahhh, love AA. I have to say my favourite characters are Edgeworth and Franziska, followed closely by Phoenix, Godot, Maya, EMA, Klavier...

Maya is my absolute favorite tbh.
Also Mia, Godot/Diego, Phoenix, Franziska, Gumshoe, Ema. DD made me like Apollo, but he and Athena need to be featured more before I can decide whether or not I would consider them favorite characters (I like them so far, though).

Also, Trucy's a cutie and I adore her, but she didn't get much time at all in DD, so I can't really say anything about her.
Idk I have a hard time calling characters who were only featured heavily in one game in a series "favorite characters" (that's probably weird of me).
I like Edgeworth too, but there are better characters IMO.

Phantom and Simon Keyes were hands down the most insane villains of all time. like holy craps. can't even begin to say how mindblowing both characters were. the reasoning they did what they did was so good and i didn't expect them to be the greatest and craziest ppl ever. they were the best of the best no doubt.

It's nice to see so many Ace Attorney fans here. ^^ I refuse to play AAI2 until I get a real release from Capcom. Mainly because I hate emulation and piracy, plus I've already been waiting for years now. I just want to play it on my DS
