I'm curious and would like to know which squirrel villager is your favorite and why.
By far my favorite squirrel is in fact Hazel. Although some people may find her ugly, probably because of her single eyebrow, I find her adorable and IMO she rocks that eyebrow. Next to her, Tasha is also pretty neat, I especially like her look the most. Honorable mentions goes to Peanut, Nibbles, Filbert and Sally, which are also favorites of mine.
Hazel is my favorite uchi villager. I wasn't too sure about her when she first moved in, but I quickly fell in love with her unibrow. It's so expressive!
Mint is a permanent villager in my town. She's just so cute and friendly. She was one of my starting villagers when I first got New Leaf and I fell in love with her instantly.
Ricky is in my husband's town so I visit him often. I love the cranky personality and I love his eyebrow, too!
Marshall 1st. I want him so badly in my town, but no luck so far. :c Out of all the squirrel villagers (yes, he's overrated) I like him the most.
I like Sylvanna's color pattern
Poppy is really cute and of course she had to also have a normal personality like most of the cute villagers do.
I had and liked Peanut in Wild World, but not so much in New Leaf. I don't really like her color scheme.
I really like Kit too he looks a lot like Conker, but I don't think you can get him in new leaf. If you could move him into your town, he'd be my second favorite villager amongst the squirrels.
hazel, mint and nibbles aren't too bad
filbert is pretty cute, but I'm not such a fan of his color scheme. I did have him in wild world, like peanut once.

I know he is overrated but Marshal is my favorite! He's just so darn cute!!!!
I'm a big fan of the Splatoon series so I will say I was kinda disappointed with their villagers! I'm not really sure why they picked squirrels to represent Callie and Marie (I think cats would have been cuter) but mostly I think it's just because they are all pink and green, which I think is a little too much.
I really love Marshal, Blaire and Pecan. Marshal because he is the cutest smug ever. Blaire because I had her in my Gamecube town and had her in one of my ACNL towns. She's cute. Pecan because she's cute. Well, you know, I'm gonna say that they're all cute because really, they are, but these three are the cutest to me.
I'd have to say that my favorite Squirrel villager is Pecan. Her character design, the interior design of her house, and her Snooty personality all coalesce to make her the best, most solid Squirrel as far as I'm concerned. I haven't yet had her in a town, though I'm considering acquiring her in New Horizons.
My second favorite Squirrel is Static. I was initially going to let him tie for first place with Pecan because his character design is great and he has the good Cranky personality, but the interior design of his house is pretty underwhelming for me.
Honorable mentions to Agent S, Blaire, Peanut, and Tasha. I've had Agent S in a New Leaf town in the past and like her because of her "superhero" design, but had her move out because she didn't fit the town's theme. Blaire was a resident in my GameCube town years ago so she gets nostalgia points, and Peanut gets much the same because she was in my first New Leaf town before I deleted that and restarted it. Those three all get affection points due to past experience. As for Tasha, I've never had her in a town and she has the seemingly common problem of Welcome Amiibo villagers of having a nonsensical interior design with her house, but her design is great and I like her Snooty personality.
Agent S, Cally, Filbert, Hazel, Kit, Marshal, Poppy, Ricky, Sally, Sylvana, and Tasha are my favorites. The ones I like the most out those are definitely Filbert, Marshal, Sylvana, and Tasha because of their looks and how cute they are. Filbert is really cute and I love his face design and wish there was one similar we can use for our characters. Marshal is cute and looks like a marshmallow. Finally Sylvana and Tasha and really unique in their designs and look really cool.
All the other ones I listed are my favorites because I've had them before in my town(s) and because I liked their designs, colors, and personalities. ^^
Sylvana !!
She's one of my all time favorites overall, love her personality type, and she's soooo cute. Her name is also a part of my state's name, with the same meaning. And I love her RV and all of the versions of her house.
i would have to say poppy 100%! she's one of my favourite villagers overall, my only gripe with her is that godawful shirt of hers lmaoo
i just think her bright coloured nose is one of the cutest things ever (it's also the reason i've grown quite fond of rudy!) and i'm obsessed with valentine's day colours and aesthetics so i absolutely LOVE the colour scheme she's got going on, especially in her tail. the pink accent is... perfection. the little mint accents in her ears are also a perfect choice!
i also just love deep/dark reds as it is if it weren't obvious hehe.
