You can limit it to five, if you want.

Thats 5.

And I'll throw in some older rock too

Older Rock:

Poison - Talk Dirty to me
Poison - Every Rose Has its Thorn

I came in here prepared to post 50+ tunes, but believe it or not, I've actually narrowed it down to... 1.

Rio De La Miel - Paco de Lucia

Not much of a "song" since it doesn't have lyrics, but it is absolute musical perfection nonetheless. It is a little tough to appreciate if you don't know the rhythmical, harmonic, and melodic intricacies of the Buleria, but this is just as good as it gets. Not only is the melody absolutely monstrous, but harmonically Paco is taking huge risks. A Buleria is traditionally performed in Phrygian keys (major), but here he puts the form on its head and performs it in a minor key. He injects flavorful jazz chords into the mix, all while keeping the 12-beat "compas" (rhythmic structure). It is the most perfect blend of modern and traditional flamenco. And the absolutely ridiculous ending? Jeez... a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

I do believe that Shadow_Link actually has the entire album from which Rio de la Miel is the opener; Luzia. I think it's my favorite album of all time, too.

...Wow. I wrote way too much.

Hm... I'll just throw in a few random ones from my Top 50.

The Beatles- I am the Walrus
The Beatles- Hey Jude (My favorite song by The Beatles)
Toby Keith- The Angry American/Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue
Toby Keith- Beer for My Horses
Toby Keith- She Never Cried in Front of Me
Linkin Park- In the End
Linkin Park- Numb
Three Days Grace- Animal I Have Become
Hank Williams Jr.- All My Rowdy Friends are Coming Over Tonight
Tenacious D- Tribute (The only song by them I really actually like)
Breaking Benjamin- Diary of Jane
Lynyrd Skynard- Free Bird
Guns & Roses- Welcome to the Jungle

Rise Against- Survive

Garth Brooks- Friends in Low Places
Bon Jovi- Living on a Prayer
Weezer- Say it Ain't So

Those are just a few random songs from my 50 favorite.

And Shadow, my school marching band is playing Back in Black as our parade song. But it's about two times as fast as the actual song.

D-Jam, though I don't particularly like modern rock or rap, I admit I find those songs not bad.
Bul, I swear I've seen that somewhere before.

I'll post my list someday..but instead I'll mimic everyone's favorite Shadow Link.

D-Jam, Do you have negative views on today's popular rap?
JJH, Have you heard "history" from them? It's like an acoustic version tribute sequel thingy.

You're not crazy, you just have common sense. What that guy did with "lollipop"...I've listened to the lyrics and he's just describing his fantasies. Even though describing a fantasy can count as a song and can speak out to the listener. What he did just can't do either. I think his earlier work with Juvenille was sort-of fair though.
