Favorite Gamecube game?

My favorite is probably Metroid Prime. But I also love Wind Waker, Animal Crossing, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Monkey Ball, Crazy Taxi, Pikmin, and others.

skies of arcadia (i know it was on the dreamcast first but i played the gc version) also shout out to wind waker, melee, super mario sunshine, eternal darkness, pikmin, baten kaitos

So glad someone mentioned this game. I have both the DC original and the Legends port for GC, and I love them both. Legends is slightly better because of the additional battles with the bounty board and the Angel of Death.

Sigh. Now I really want to replay it...

Also: Tales of Symphonia and Beyond Good and Evil. Easily my top three favorite games of that era.

There are so many good ones. Though the only games I ever played on the Gamecube were Super Mario Sunshine, Mariokart: Double Dash, Mario Party 4 & 5, and Sonic Heroes (fyi: I don't think highly of Sonic Heroes =P). So out of those, Double Dash would be my top pick, followed by the Mario Party's tied for second, then Sunshine.

I'd like to mention other games such as Wind Waker, Luigi's Mansion, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, the Pikmin games, and Kirby's Air Ride. They were great too but I 1. Never owned them (Luigi's Mansion, Kirby's Air Ride), 2. Didn't play them until they were remade for the Wii/Wii U (Pikmin games, Wind Waker), or 3. My brother owned it and was the only one who played it (Sonic Adventure 2: Battle). I liked them a lot, but I didn't get to have the initial Gamecube experience with them.

The only time I played Kirby's Air Ride was a long time ago as a demo in a game shop that went out of business.

Wow, this ended up being wordier than I inteded. But yeah, my 2 cents (more like 20 cents =P).

It'd have to be a tie between Windwaker and the GC release of Resident Evil 4, for me.

My favorites are Kirby Air Ride, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart Double Dash, F-Zero GX, and Luigi's Mansion.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Kirby Air Ride getting so much love in this thread. They should really make a Kirby Air Ride 2

I would have to pick Thousand Year Door, the sense of adventure and open world was so cool! lots of little secrets and quirks involved, I just love that game
