I know a lot of people dislike Club Tortimer, but I thought it would be fun to share your favorite experiences, whether you really bonded with someone or you ran into a troll. It just has to be your favorite. ;D
My two favorites are ones on regional. I ran into two kids, a boy and a girl who claimed to be 9 and 10. When I got there, the girl had bought one of the items and dropped it outside for the boy. I was bored, so I put on my Dalek outfit and started saying "EXTERMINATE."
What? Isn't that what you're supposed to do on Club Tortimer?
I didn't get any reaction for a few minutes, so I started fishing. That's when the boy ran up to me and said "im doctor who"
Okay, it's The Doctor, but whatever, kid.
That's when I started saying, "THE DOCTOR? EXTERMINATE THE DOCTOR!"
He chased me around saying "sonik scrudrivr". IT WAS HILARIOUS. Sadly, I got disconnected right then. I don't know why, but I did. *sigh*
And my other favorite:
I had just gotten to the island. I put on my Anna dress (from Frozen) and said "for the first time in 4ever", just to see if someone would catch on. Then, when I went out to the beach, I saw a girl in a robe with a Gryffindor scarf, chatting with someone else. I said "HARRY POTTER" and then put on my Dalek dress.
"WAIT
IS THAT A DALEK"
"YES
EXTERMINATE"
"OMG"
We then proceeded to chat about how we wished there were Percy Jackson QR patterns, how much we loved the books, and I got her Instagram username so we could DM and exchange friend codes. >: D
So basically, I've learned to wear QR patterns reflecting my interests. That way, I can meet other fans.
