Favorite Childhood Book Series?

Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I never thought to post here. Well, here goes...!

I think my most memorable book series were Wimpy Kid, Dork Diaries, and Dog Man. Out of those three, I liked Dog Man more because of how the books matured significantly. Funnily enough, I only read like a few books in the series in elementary school and didn't go any further until last year. Wimpy Kid is my second favorite since I prefer the first few books over the more nonsensical newer entries. And Dork Diaries? Well, it's my third fave. I liked it as a kid, but now it's more of a mixed bag. And did you know that the first edition was completely ****ed up? (look up "Dork Diaries controversy" and you'll see what I mean!) At least it became less like that in the newer editions.

Some more stuff I remember reading that others might've have already mentioned: Beverly Cleary's books, Big Nate, Captain Underpants, Dr. Seuss, Goosebumps, Harry Potter, The Magic Treehouse, Peanuts comic strip compilations, etc.

My favorites are Harry Potter, The Magic Treehouse, and Geronimo Stilton. I also loved reading Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in grade school, though I haven't read the whole series yet.

From what I remember, I used to love reading Goosebumps, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Junie B. Jones and Dork Diaries. I wish I had spent more time reading when I was a kid.

Shoutout to the person who mentioned Artemis Fowl. I read up to the red book in that series. There were like two other books that came out later but I was too old to be reading them by then.

I was in high school by the time the next book came out. Way too old lol

I loved Famous Five by Enid Blyton and the Pure Dead series by Debi Gliori

No you can still enjoy childhood stories. I'm in the process of trying to get all the Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe series
Today I learned there's more than one book in that series lol. We read it in sixth grade and thought it was the only book. I also thought it was kind of a grown up book although I wasn't really paying attention so I'm probably way off.
