Favorite Bug/Fish?

do you have a favorite bug/fish in the game?

i do, actually! cicadas are my favorite since they remind me a lot of summer. what's yours?

My favorite fish is the Dorado. In NL, I found two of them practically side by side in a stretch of my river. I was SOOO nervous about catching them because I was a lot worse at the fishing mechanics than I am now. I was able to catch both of them! I didn’t sell them, tho: they were my greeters to my house. Now I have two dorado statues to commemorate that event.

I love the butterflies. I’m not a huge bug person. I did enjoy the fireflies though. I’ve never experienced them in real life but it was nice having them in game. As for fish I love the seahorse. Seahorses are one of my favorites irl.

I don’t like bugs, but I admit that I do like a lot of the butterflies. Favorite butterfly would have to be either the blue emperor or the grand q.a. birdwing (I wish that model was smaller though). The whale shark or coelacanth are my favorites (so disappointed with the size of the coelacanth model though).

All the sharks. The whale shark in particular.

The bee for the bugs and the Emperor butterfly for now. Haven't looked at the list of all the bugs.

Fish- coelacanth. They're just SO unique and lovely, and RL ones are fascinating. They're prehistoric and were thought to be extinct since prehistoric times until they were found again within the last century.

Bug- hmm... to be honest, there aren't a ton of bugs I LOVE- there aren't many I hate, either, though. If I had to pick, I'd say tarantula or hermit crab (even though neither are technically bugs ) Hermit crab because I had some for pets for awhile in RL, and tarantula because they're cute and fluffy...

I adore the orchid mantis personally. They make awesome decorations as models as well! Just place them on one of the log stools in a patch of white flowers.

I love the hammerhead shark and whale shark. But right now, the ocean sunfish is my favorite. It's cute looking. My favorite bug is the praying mantis.

my favourite fish probably has to be the great white shark - i’ve always been a fan of the sharks in general and love catching them but i definitely think the great one is my favourite. a classic but still great ^_^ - i also really like how the koi looks, for some reason - it’s a cute lil critter aha. and the red snapper! i love its shade of red and it’s so shiny aha

as for bugs, i really like how the great purple emperor flies but in terms of appearance, i really like the emperor and monarch butterflies - they’re both so pretty and i really want to make a bunch of monarch models once they’re in season,, i think they might look nice with the aesthetic i’m going for aha ;u;

I really like the paper-kite butterflies. I was awe-struck when I first saw them lol.

As for fish, I love really like the goldfish!

Orchid mantis hands down ! For fish, I guess the sea butterfly looks cute, I was gonna say snapping turtle.... but does it really count as fish?

Mine is a goldfish. (I always wanted a real one but didn't get the chance to.)

I am not a fan of bugs. They creep me out.

right now i am really vibing with the madagascan sunset moth, it just makes me happy to see, it's so slight but so pretty. i also find the cicadas very comforting tho, the same way i find all the goldfish variations comforting. love to just plop them down in their pretty bowls on my house floor.

negl tho, the spider crabs freak me out a bit...all the slow movements....so spindely...daddy long leg had an ocean affair or something

I love beetles. I would totally own a stag beetle as a pet but their lifespans are too short.

Moray eels. They're pretty adorable.
