Fastest way to grow hybrids?

I'm in need of some hybrids. I could buy some from here, but people mostly want them for tbt and I'm saving up for a cherry & peach collectible :3 Also I figured It could be quite fun to grow my own and feel accomplished once I've done so, instead of just being lazy and buying them xc So yeah. If anyone has some really good techniques to growing hybrids fast, please share them ^^ I mainly just place them two by two and water them, which isn't very efficient.

Diagonally planting, planting on the beach (to make sure they don't get ruined), watering with a golden can, fertilizer.

I have more luck breeding hybrids from regular flowers for some reason.

yes they can ^^ I breed my blue roses there to avoid them being destroyed by me or
other villagers

Also the beautiful town ordinance helps a lot!

Well, what I do is

A new flower only grows Next to a 'parent flower', not diagonally.

^ You cannot use fertilizer in the middle here though.

Yeah, that's what I meant by diagonally planting. lol

Usually for me, I plant them diagonally in a checkerboard pattern as Fidelio showed, and I'll usually extend it so it's pretty huge, and I'll put all my extra hybrids there (of the same type, like all blue roses, etc.) to increase the chances of getting more. Watering is important too; if they're not watered, they don't spawn as many. If I do this, without using any fertilizer, I can usually get 2-6 a day.

When I'm impatient, a trick I'll do is water them, and TT forward a day. Then I'll harvest any that spawn, buy the next day's fertilizer (I rarely ever use fertilizer because they grow well without it for me), and TT back to the original time and date. Rinse and repeat like 10-20 times and you'll have a crapton of hybrids. The only thing though is you need a lot of the same type to begin with. I began doing this with like 25 blue roses in a checkerboard pattern, but they spawn like weeds for me now.
