Usually I don't even try and get 100% approval just by playing and creating a home (besides a tent). I honestly think just keep checking everyday and it will get to 100% on its own.

Fish. As odd as that sounds, go fishing, sometimes you'll pull up garbage and you'll have to pay Reese a few bells to toss it but it'll raise your rating.

I think doing requests for villagers raise your rating too.

donate stuff to the museum. That's how I got mine

Posting on the bulletin board is supposed to help as well.

are you taking to Isabelle after each task? she'll tell you the next thing you need to do... there needs to be no weeds & every flower watered

make sure you're always, always, always talking to villagers. make sure you do the tasks they give you!

it tells you the number of points you can get from each thing, and also how many times you can do the task!
