Fantasy Life

[Oriana]

Nintendo revealed the cover art for Fantasy Life amongst the fray of all the other amazing titles (Zelda Wii U, I'm looking at you), so it kind of got overlooked. To sum up, it's a JRPG that was released in Japan last December and will be released in North America this October. It will be a title exclusively for the 3DS. Gameplay footage can be found here.
So, what are your thoughts on this title? I think it looks adorable and it reminds me of SAO for some reason >.>

It looks awesome, it's only one of two 3DS things I saw that stood out to me. Can't say I'll rush out and get it day 1, but it's on my list of things to keep an eye on.

I think it's cute, but I'd like to see more of it, to see if I'd want it. I see where it might remind you of SAO, it also really reminds me of Ni No Kuni.

I'd like it to come to Europe, but if it doesnt I wouldn't mind. I've never really seen a lot of gameplay of it, nor played previous versions (if there is previous versions??), so this will more or less be a "test the waters" game for me, which is why I'm not overly fussed if comes here or not.
That said though, I do believe it'll come to Europe.

Doesn't remind me of anything...its a unique art style.

This brings my count of 3DS games to get by the end of the year to 5 >.< My wallet is crying already.

I don't believe there have been past installments for Fantasy Life. I've done my research and there doesn't seem to be. If you'd like to see some gameplay from the Japanese release, you can check out the LinandKo YouTube channel. They translate the Japanese dialogue and give you a good feel for the game. It looks adorable! I can't wait for it. ≥//≤

yeah but we got so little stock of bravely, like it was impossible to get in actual stores an even the stock on amazon was small and expensive, I think that the thing with europe? if we ever get games earlier, which is kinda rare, we get nowhere near as much stock as the us, or maybe its just ireland thats like that

Yep! Lin and Ko uploaded different tutorials for the different classes. They're really cute. I totally haven't watched most of them. >.>;

I'm so glad to see other people enthusiastic about this game. Besides, even if you're not, you still have plenty of time to amass excitement. It doesn't come out until October (or September, if you're in Europe), after all.

Yeah, I really hope it becomes a very popular game in the english speaking community! Theres so much multiplayer options I can see the trade market for the game being almost as busy as it is for animal crossing.

I am thinking about getting it. One day. It looked very beautiful and there seems to be plenty to do. It should definitely keep me busy for a looooooong time
