Fancy Pattern Vivillon - now available.

Yesterday Pokemon X & Y’s Global Trade Station has finally surpassed their goal of trading over 100 million Pokemon across the world. Back in May (90 million trades), it was announced that when they reach their goal of 100 million Pokemon trades through GTS, a special version of Vivillon would be distributed in all regions, for free.

The Vivillon you receive will be at level 12 with the following moves: Gust, Light Screen, Struggle Bug, and Hold Hands. Hold hands is an exclusive move that no other Pokemon can obtain, including other Vivillons. The move itself is described as, "The user and an ally hold hands. This makes them very happy." Original Trainer will be listed as: GTS. They will come in a Cherish Ball and will also come with a Souvenir Ribbon, "A Ribbon for cherishing a special memory."

My Vivillon is male and has Compound Eyes with a Rash nature.

Vivillon is available to download via the Nintendo Network today with WiFi connection. Just click the Mystery Gift option.

It'll just end up being whatever your region's Vilillon is. I've bred an Elegant and Modern Vivillon and got High Plains as a result.

I would have liked a female with Compound Eyes and a Jolly or Sassy nature. Though I plan to train the one I received, and try to fit it into my party if I could. The animation for Hold Hands is really adorable, but for something so exclusive it's not an exciting must have move.

I'm still not sure if I like the pattern or not. I'm sure I'll get used to it the more I see it. I really wish they saved the Pokeball Pattern for this event and gave France the Fancy Pattern.

I have two females with different abilities. Idk about the natures, I don't really care haha I love the pattern, it looks soo pretty.. Vivillon is one of my fave pokes and I'm so happy that it has so many cool patterns. It's bit sad that the Pokeball vivillon is only in France though :c
