Fail to induct a camper?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND NEVERMIND, talked to them twice more and was able to win the game that time *headdesk* Welcome to the town Stitches!

So I have a camper in my town that I want to move in, but I've been trying forever with no luck!

I do have room in my village.
I've spoken to them multiple times.
I've played multiple games.
I've visited them a few times through the day.

They HAVE asked if they should move in a good number of times and I ALWAYS say yes, but then they decline...apparently the water in their town tastes too good to want to move -.-

While I would normally just keep trying over and over I'm worried that I might have ruined my chances as TWICE they played games where the prize was them moving in to the town; losing each game.

Should I keep trying or am I SOL?

I'd keep trying, but that being said I've never lost a game for a villager to move in. I don't know if that can actually screw you up. As far as I know, as long as you keep badgering them you will eventually get them to agree to move.

They should never have made it so hard. When I was a new player, I missed out on several campers because I gave up after several rejections.
