Face Guide Question

I've seen two face guides, neither of which match up. Anyone know why this may be?

The first guide (which you took off from there) is apparently the best for those who will get the English version of the game, simply because it has the exact wordings of the answers, therefore no guesswork required.

One of those guides is a translation from the Japanese version (where all the characters have black eyes) the other is from the English version (where the characters have colored eyes).

I did not know it's source; I saw it circulating on Tumblr. Thank you for clarifying, though!
