I'm the same way. Whenever I start a new game/town I make a list of the villagers I want and one of those villagers in my current town was Scoot and I never paid any attention to him at first but omg he is the best! I love him so much and am so glad I gave him a chance.

bianca and skye!
i usually don't like the peppy personality that much (ruby and dotty are my two exceptions to this), but for some reason, bianca has really, REALLY grown on me. she's one of the first villagers i go to talk to every time i start the game.
and Skye's eyes always creeped me out, and her design seemed a little kitschy to me, but she's one of the nicest villagers i have (as most normals tend to be, i guess)... and that adooorable cloud on her head combined with "airmail" as a catchphrase is great

Agent S! She was in my campsite and I invited her over because I thought she was kind of cute and I figured I'd rather have her than a random move in I might not like. She turned out to be adorable and funny and now she's made it on my favourite villager list!

Surprisingly, Jambette. She was one of the first to move into my town and usually people are quick to get her out because of her looks. She's a normal villager so she was very sweet and always nice to my mayor. I still wanted to cycle for my dreamies so I let her go as soon as she pinged to leave, but she sent me her picture in her farewell letter and I display it proudly in my house.

In the very first game on the GC ivd had her, and was so happy to get her in this game too!

Annalise, was weird for me., snooty.. but she grew on me, and is now one of my faves!

Maple, who cant love that cute cub!

I love aurora! Im not sure why she isn't one of those popular villagers. Her design is so simple yet cute and she should be popular! Anyway, she looks a lot like this penguin plushie that i had when i was a kid. I loved that plushie so much and now there's a virtual version of that plushie lol

I also love cookie because i love dogs! I love pink too so more reason to love her!

Stitches too. I don't think i need to provide a reason why i live him right?

Last but nit least, i love prince! The main thing that attracted me is his mustache like feature on his face which is so super cute!

I wouldn't say stole my heart, but Jeremiah is my favorite villager He's been in my town since day one (almost two and a half years) and I'd be really sad if he moved out.
