Ever end up loving a hated villager?

Not too long ago I had Walt move into my town, and I was so bummed. I even made a thread about how disappointed I was. Well months have passed, and now hes one of my favorites and I dont think I would let him leave my town if he asked.

Has that ever happened to you? I was so against him, and now hes only second to Beau! Hes such a lovable grump!

Everyone hates on Canberra but I loved her when she was in my town. When she moved I was devastated

Quillson. The first time I saw him, I only thought about how dumb he really looked as well as how he plotted his house right in front of mine. But as time went on, I grew to like him for his personality. I had to kick him out later on because there were other villagers that I wanted, but I still like him regardless.

I hate to admit that I hated Harry in my first town and was kind of sad when he finally moved out lol

Okay but when she's been in your town twice for a while you end up either really hating her or liking her and I really like her
I also love Tabby who's also hated I think?

Tbh the same thing happened to me with Walt and Maelle. I thought they were so annoying (and ugly) and wanted them out ASAP. But when Maelle finally wanted to move out I was a bit heartbroken, I really missed seeing her around town even though i was still mad about her moving in. I still have Walt and he's asked to move out a couple times now but I've kept him. He sends me letters saying what great friends we are and I can't see him leaving any time soon.

I like all my villagers. Unless they ruin my paths, or even worse, delay a PWP bridge (f you, Mac)

Jambette. I had her in early in the game (a couple weeks after I got back in June 2013) and I thought she was disgusting at first but the more I talked to her the more I liked her. I had no idea she was one of the most hated villagers at the time.

i haven't really experienced myself someone i hated becoming someone i like. but as for if other people don't like them. canberra was my very first person who moved in. so i love her.

Marcie isnt a popular villager at all, but as soon as I set my eyes on her, I needed her in my town. She's probably one of my top favourite villagers in the series. I also have a very strong love of Clay, hes so sweet and lovable.

I've never really hated any villagers myself, but I know that Jambette gets a lot of hate from other people. And Gigi doesn't seem to be the most well liked either. I ended up really liking both of them. Wouldn't say I loved them enough to keep them for a very long time as I had my dreamies to obtain, but I'll always remember being best friends with Gigi and her turning up at my house with a durian as a gift. I just found it very sweet for some reason
