Error since the update

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this or if anyone knows how to solve it:

First off, it now takes me roughly 3 attempts to actually load the game because as it's loading the title screen, it comes up with "SD card removed" error and goes back to main menu. After doing that 3-4 times I get onto the game and load my Mayor. But sometimes I'll be about a minute or two into gameplay and it'll freeze and go back to my home menu, saying the SD card can't be accessed and the system restarts. I never touch the SD card and I have a physical copy of the game (if that's any help).

It's really irritating now because I keep losing stuff I've done because I don't get chance to save and it takes a good 20 minutes to actually load the game up!

On a side note: I know you get a different special villager RV each day (Jingle, savannah etc) but every few days you get just a regular villager, right? Because ever since I've updated I've always had the same 'regular villager' camping and it's pretty boring. I know you can scan villagers through amiibo cards but I thought you'd still just get random regular villagers like you do with the campsite PWP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could try to re-install the update download, but it sounds as though you have a cartridge headed south.Substitution of cart and/or 3Ds is the best way to tell, if that's possible.

no, villagers do not come to the campground with RVs. the only exceptions to this rule are the 50 new RV villager cards, and the Sanrio ones. all villagers that already exist will only show up in the campsite.

There's something about this on tumblr. If you hack it might have something to do with it. I just remember reading about it recently but I didn't read the entire thing, sorry.

Are you talking about the campground of the campsite? Just confirming..

If this is the case then buying amiibo cards is pointless, Is it true that the returning 50 villagers will come randomly, Is it CAMPSITE or the RV campground?

In all the months I have Tt'd in game now I have never once had any random villager camping in the RV part. Only the NPC's
As far as I know, nobody else has had any of the returning villagers camping either. This is the first I've heard of it and can only assume it's some sort of glitch or whatever, especially since the OP keeps getting the same villager
