Since you don't have a wi-fi rating, you'd need to pay me first after which I'd save, and then you'd get to take him.
Ummm I don't feel comfortable doing that, as I know people that have lost bells this way and have not gotten the villager. Not that I believe you would. The safest way for both of us to do this if for me to come to your town. You lead me to Erik's house and I speak to him. You can even follow me into his house. Then we both go out and I drop the money. I can't leave unless I go through the train station so if someone tried to make a dash for it you would flick your wifi off. But I wouldn't make a dash for it lol. There's is no chance of anyone losing out is way

Well, it's up to you, but I have a total of of 32 positive wi-fi ratings and I have done many successful trades here in the past that way. You also just joined today.
Since you don't even have a wi-fi rating yet, and joined today, don't you think she has every right to be suspicious of you? xD Cheezu is a good trader and I doubt they'd scam you. The fact you even requested to drop the money after is really suspicious.
We have identical ratings xD

It's just a precaution and nothing personal. I follow exactly the same protocol when I adopt villagers from people.
I don't steal I'm not that kind of person, I know it can be hard to convince someone over the internet. I've really wanted erik for ages and I promise to pay the full 11 million. Would we be able to do the compromise where I drop half bells first and give the rest after talking to Erik

I'm not accusing anyone of stealing but since I don't know anyone on this forum personally, I can only make a judgment call based on someone's wi-fi rating.
We could compromise but after you drop me the first half of the money, I'll save the game.
Does your offer still include the bug mask, rainbow screen, and the palm?

Yes it would and thank you for understanding it's just I've seen people lose bells and the villager before and I wouldn't accuse you of that but you should always be careful and I understand you wanting to be careful as well after this is over you can give me my first wifi rating
