So, i've had this Shubunkin Goldfish Since i was atleast... 8 or 9. And his tail his like, bent upwards..

Anyone know the cause of the problem/cure/prevention? etc.

It could be a vitamin C deficiency. Sometimes electrical currents can cause it. Even in small amounts that are barely noticeable, i.e. the water bites, it can affect your fishes spine

So, just getting him his right ammount of Vitamin C will fix it? Or something?

Possibly, try doing that. How big is the aquarium it's in? If it's too small that could be the reason too.

Yeah, it's kinda small right now, one of those temporary aquariums when you clean out his aquarium.

How would a smaller aquarium affect him though? :O

Just due to stress, I mean if you were kept in a small room your whole life how would you feel? hahaha It's better to give them some room to swim!

I'll try seeing if this works.

You Fish could have a Certain type of Tail Rot.
When a fish gets an infection, the immune system is weak causing it to be vonerable to other types of infection it would normally be able to fight off. Meaning...Fish can have various types of infections at the same time. You can treat for various infections with several types of medicine, or find one that treats multi-purpose ailments.

1. Bent Tails are absolutely revolting
2. I have no idea how that happened
3. I don't really want to :P
