Is the $100 more really worth it?
(its actually $20 cheaper than buying a normal one and then getting the 120g HDD, which, trust me, you'll pretty much need)
The 360 HArdrive gets filled up very quickly with all the game save files, and the XLA games and such.STORMCOMMANDER said:No

So what you're doing is assuming that ZF will buy tons of XL arcade games, which I doubt he'll do if he already has a Wii.dragonflamez said:The 360 HArdrive gets filled up very quickly with all the game save files, and the XLA games and such.STORMCOMMANDER said:No

I probably won't get a ton of the arcade games, but still... its 100GB more space. Plus it looks cooler.STORMCOMMANDER said:So what you're doing is assuming that ZF will buy tons of XL arcade games, which I doubt he'll do if he already has a Wii.dragonflamez said:The 360 HArdrive gets filled up very quickly with all the game save files, and the XLA games and such.STORMCOMMANDER said:No

Its a huge space difference. If I'm going to save up for it, might as well just save up for a little longer and get the better one.STORMCOMMANDER said:You guys just don't know how to manage/save money ._.ZELDAFREAK104 said:I probably won't get a ton of the arcade games, but still... its 100GB more space. It's also a huge money difference. I doubt you'll ever even use half of the space available.ZELDAFREAK104 said:Its a huge space difference. Um... ya... Not mine personally, I didn't buy it because I know how to save money. Even if I didn't, that doesn't mean I need to "stay out of it". Maybe $100 is easy for you to come up with... you know you have everything you want pretty much, but not everyone can spend money like that. And when you're in college, like I'm about to be, you definitely need to learn how to manage money. (Unless you're parents still pay for everything................ in which case, life after college will be more difficult in terms of the experience and attitude you had)JJRamone2 said:Storm, do you HAVE a 360? As far as I know you don't so how about you stay out of this. It WILL be filled fast, by demos, videos, and XBLA games, I know that first hand.
That's not true. I never said I had anything against buying a 360. I'm just saying don't buy something you don't even need (the elite version... and ZF already said he wouldn't be downloading that much).dragonflamez said:Jesus Storm, he's buying a game console, not buying property on the Moon.
It's not a matter on money management: no matter how you look at it, video games aren't a good way to spend money.
I feel it's better to buy on the larger side. He may say he's not getting much, but f he does and doesnt buy the Elite, he'll be sad.STORMCOMMANDER said:That's not true. As I said before, I think that's the attitude of someone who doesn't save money. Let's say in the future you have thousands of dollars and want to learn piano so you buy a grand piano... doesn't make sense... just buy a little thing unless you're going to go all out, like playing it all day everyday until you die.dragonflamez said:I feel it's better to buy on the larger side. If you've got the money, go for it. No reason not to.
What I was saying though, was that buying the HDD for the Pro essentially costs MORE money than buying the elite.YogurtBandit said:Not worth it. My original xbox still has 50000+ blox.
Now, I would get the Pro. The core iks a waste of money since it comes with NO hard drive. Plus, if you want the elite for the HD then you can buy the HD when you run out.
