EB Games Canada has preorders up for amiibo cards!!

Seven bucks eh? Not too shabby. I'd pay that for six cards. I was worried they would have been more expensive. >_<

it's 6 cards in NA/Canada, 3 cards everywhere else

Thanks Jake -- I meant how many packs in a full box of packs, though, not how many cards in a pack (e.g., Japan has 50 packs per booster box). It doesn't matter, though: they're limiting purchases to 3 packs per person. *shakes tiny fist at the heavens*

All i know is JPN has 50 and AUS has 42

I don't know that one has been announced--today's the first day I've seen them up anywhere for Canada, even in individual packs. Was in another retailer today and the guy told me we couldn't pre-order NFC reader bundles (he was really, really wrong and I was able to order one from him)--so basically, most of the retail staff don't even know what's available, let alone what kind of stock they're going to get. :/

I cannot find the said preorder page on the website.

It was there the other day...and seems to have completely disappeared now. Are they already sold out?? :|

Is it possible it was a mistake? I know two stores in NA that listed pre-orders for the cards online, then removed it as they weren't actually taking pre orders.

If not, I guess they reached their limit :l

That's so weird. After preordering for in-store pickup, I went into my local EB yesterday (in the Toronto Eaton Centre, right downtown) to ask about the 3-pack limit, and the clerk said that his and my orders were the only 2 that had come in for that location. (He also said that staff were also being limited to ordering 3 packs themselves.) This led me to assume that orders weren't coming in very fast. He also said that, as yet, they'd had no indication as to how much in-store stock they'll be getting.

I wish they'd keep a page up, even if the item *is* sold out, so we have a better sense as to what's happening.

Heck yes! Thank goodness. I had no clue this was a thing yet. And it's exactly what I have been waiting for.

(Oh, checked like the others and the page is indeed gone.)

I actually talked to an eb games person (while I was in there) late last month and he said he had no clue on when they were getting them.

Meanwhile, My local EB games still have no idea if they're getting the bundle or not. And I can't afford to get it online. >.<
