Duplicates Appearing Less Often

I just bought 5 US packs of welcome amiibo cards and I only got one duplicate(Plucky). When I bought the other four series it seems like in every other pack, I got a duplicate. Is this happening to anyone else?

This is probably just luck, because the only factor they could change here to influence this would be having any duplicates in one single pack. I haven't bought any card packs personally but I would imagine that they wouldn't put multiples of the same card in one pack. Seems like you've just had better luck lately?

Also depends if the packs you bought came from the same box because I've heard many box sets are providing most/all of the series.

Oh yeah, that's a good point. It's up to the retailer if they want to display the packs in their original box though. If they do, then picking your packs from the same box should definitely minimize duplicates if people haven't muddled them up. Seems kind of hard to guarantee.
