Drift told me he decided he wasn't going to move out..

I almost had a heart attack. I hate Drift! I immediately reset my game and time traveled to the day he was supposed to be in boxes and thankfully he is still moving.

I've been trying to get rid of him for months!!

When a villager agrees to move out, I never speak to them again. Actually, I usually time travel to the day after they say they'll move out and then I save my game and travel back to the correct date.

Oh, god! I HATE HATE HATEEE it when villagers do that to you! Thankfully, I've never had a villager I hate do it, but it is still very annoying.
It makes no sense, whatsoever! They want to move, you support them, and they change their mind. Why?! They should change their mind when you tell them to stay!!! That's it!!! No kidding, it's happened behind my back too!

I always make sure not to talk to a villager if I want them to move out after they've pinged me, because I hate when that happens! So I just ignore them until their move out day now. It's only happened to me once or twice, but... I won't risk it now if I want them out!

Ah, yeah, they love paying mind games with you....those cunning animals....
Just never speak to them once they say they're moving as you will generally always be given another chance to change their mind. Which also gives them a chance to change theirs! Even if they ping you, just run away. It could just be a PWP request or something, I just never risk it!

I have had Klaus say he was moving and then whenever I said "bye, see ya" he would say "wait, you arent sad? That must mean we arent good friends. I gotta stay and fix that!" And then he'd change his mind about moving. IT IS THE WORST. He did that to me twice before finally deciding to leave. I thought I would never get rid of him.

I love it when I get out that villager that I can't stand. Every time they ping me I run from them and it just feels so good to see them running after me begging for my attention. Hahahaha Maybe I enjoy that a little too much

Absolutely hate it when they change their minds, especially when its a villager I despise lol, however when its a villager I love then I get so happy about it ^_^ I am glad your happy hes going

i hate it when that happens as well. as much as i love my villagers, they would always pull my leg with that sort of stuff. one time, puck told me that he is leaving my town and i told him farewell. but as soon as i said that, he was like "oh wait, i thought we were friends! it makes me sad that youre wanting to let me go!" it gets pretty annoying fast, haha.

This happened to me with Rodney!! I was TTing until I found someone who wants to move, and out of nowhere, Rodney pinged me!!
I was like, yess, finally someone is moving!! There are two options, so I definitely chose "ok thanks" instead of "please stay"!
And Rodney was like no, he wanted to become better friends with me, and decided he is staying!!
WTH Rodney!! You are supposed to leave!! I didn't know that I could reset and I moved on to another day.
It took me around 20 tries to finally make him leave!!
When a villager decides to leave, and you don't want to keep him/her, just runaway!!
I learnt this the hard way!!!
