So, I bought the full sloppy set from a lovely person on the forum, and I've visited many dreamtowns with the set in the houses. I want to use the sloppy set in my main room in my mayor's house, and I'm mixing it with the weeding day set. I've seen how cute people can make them. Does anyone use this set in their house? If so how is it looking? I really want it to be cutesy, so I'm not sure what to do.

Any inspiration is appreciated. I decided to use a different wallpaper and flooring, along with mixed sets. So if you have any pictures of your own house, or others' with it, or any advice, please let me know. ~
Or post any pictures. I'm in desperate need right now haha.

Mixing sets is also my favorite thing to do with decor. With sloppy, the cuteness can be added in with whatever accents you pick, like the weeding set you mentioned, and you could also add cute pastel color items or teddy bears and items from sweet set, maybe? Cakes and sweets always make the room cuter. I found this on google:

The cat tower is an awesome touch and makes the room seem real. It reminds me of my own home, haha.

I wish ACNL had pets! Villager pets and mayor pets! Like petpets from neopets.

I have also seen people add laptops, cute computer desks, and refurbished kiddie items really effectively.

Wallpaper design is key:

I saw the cutest cat wall paper on pinterest:

PS the second pic is also from google search. I don't know the names of the village/mayors.

refurbishing it with some light pink shirts is cute imo!! and mixing it with white, lightwr pinks and pastel colors is rly cute too hahh ;w;
i personally like it with minimalistic furniture and also the bear items :>

I redecorated mine with the sunflower tee, and added blue/yellow items in the room. I think it looks pretty cute :)

Genius! Great inspiration. I was like - how on earth could sloppy look good? lol

the pictures of the above houses with the sloppy set are so cute!! I think the sloppy set gives a really homey and cosy feel to the house, and if done right you can really pull it off. i think a nice bit of wallpaper and other complimenting furniture and you should have a model house :)

Oooh thanks guys! I really like the house pictures above! I'm trying to find some more wallpapers, but it's hard to find any I like. :/

I really like it when people mix it with the egg set. I've also seen it mixed with the alpine set.

I've seen some people use it with the remade kiddie furniture, that looks pretty cute, makes me want to grab a sloppy set myself and start on a room. Unfortunately the only photo I found wasn't in the best quality but I found another super cute one using the minimalistic furniture and the sweets furniture too.

I have the complete sloppy set mixed with the cardboard set. Some of the other pieces are the office locker, garbage can, clothesline pole, smoker, cardboard and wood boxes, bulletin board, hospital TV shelf, display shelf, TV with vcr, coat rack, pot rack, folding chair, mop, bathrobe and vacuum cleaner. Scattered about on furniture are the coffee maker, paint set, homework set, record player, coffee cup, cream and sugar, terrycloth do-rag. On the floor and scattered I have some of the items you can walk through like the tweeter and lost item bags, cardboard takeout coffee and lost book. It's a cluttered mess and I love how realistic it looks.

I love seeing how everybody uses this set. It was real work getting it and is my favorite AC furniture set. I am going to try refurbishing some of my extras.
I would also love to find that cat tree and bunkbed.

This thread is giving me lots of ideas! I love the idea of mixing it with lost items and cluttering. Now I want to get the sloppy set! The styles remind me of thrift store shopping and designs, which I like.
