So, I received Mira last night and I messed up with the villager reset house placement trick and her house was in a really ****ty spot. She moved right on top of my perfect trees and I tried making it work.

If your dream villagers ever move in, do you try to make it work? Or do you just not try and get them out and hope to cycle 16 villagers to get them again?

I didn't like that someone moved in right next door to me ... but at the same time it was kiki, so i let her stay!

I don't do the reset trick. I'm too lazy for that. So I just deal with where people move in.

Bob moved in for me earlier this week in the middle of half of my fruit orchard. But he moved into the spot I'd messed it up, so he only destroyed 2 trees. They were just regular native fruit trees, so I didn't care. It makes sense for the constantly thinking about food Bob to be surrounded by fruit trees, so I kinda like where he is. :D

I planned where everyone's houses were and I would've been so much happier if she moved her house in the southern area and not the northern area...

I messed up too when Phoebe moved in. 5 steps from my front door. I was tempted to ignore her and let her move, try again later but I really wanted Phoebe. I decided I was just going to be the biggest BFF I could and try to get her pic then move her out as quickly as I could.

Kyle's was ok--next to shep and hamlet
Goldie's was not ok- right on beach entrance
Mira's was great!!

I messed up too last night.

I had a really hard time tracking down Flurry and then she moved in right in front of the cafe.

I am beyond upset.

I'll probably end up giving her to one of my siblings and cycling to get her back. I can't deal with that spot.

Ribbot moved into a great spot. It's right at the bottom of my map where the majority of my villagers haved formed a nice little neighborhood block-like area.

They all pick good locations, except for Skye, who placed her house when I wanted the cafe

The only dreamie that moved into a less-than-desirable spot was Kid Cat right in front of the town hall, but eventually it's grown on me. There's a small cluster of villagers in that corner, so it reminds me of an actual street of houses. Plus I can just imagine that KC is a special defender of justice, so he has to stay near town hall!

I finally got my No.1 dreamie and finished my town!
Then she puts her butt in my path.
I worked around it.
I still love Ankha and she will STILL never leave.

sprinkle moved on my path but I fixed the path and it looks fine uwu

also stitches moved somewhat close to my house but he's my baby so i need to watch him :V

I've done the reset trick for most of my villagers.. But before that I just went with the flow, and they usually went okay.. Eugene moved into an awkward place, but I managed to work 'round him.. Sydney moved slightly off a path which was annoying 'cos I had to path round her house.. But hey.. Lyman was a starter so his house isn't an issue.. But everyone else has been resetted in, simply 'cos it's good to plan ahead :)

Willow moved where I wanted to build my Cafe so I couldn't build it... There was no other place I wanted my Cafe in so she had to go. ;c Hoping to get her back someday though.

Rowan, tied for first place as my favorite dreamy, decided to plant his house directly behind Re-Tail and destroy half of a path running along the river. There is one-square wide gap between his house and the river, and I hate it. It was one of my running paths (i.e. a path where I could run from one side of my town to the other easily). When I saw his plot, I was pretty upset about it and showed it to my friends. I can't let him go though. A friend told me he would tiger-sit for me, but I can't bring myself to do it. I'm still adjusting.
