Dream town bug?

In a dream town, I picked up some perfect apples just to see how many of them there were, but it said there were zero and every time I selected "Grab 1" I was able to take potentially an infinite amount one by one. Is this a glitch/bug or somehow just a normal thing?

When I stack anything on top of them they become normal again and can only stack up to nine. I'm assuming it's just a bug.

I've heard of a hacked item called an infinite fruit basket, but I don't hack so I don't know if this is the same thing or not. My guess is that is probably what you found, though.

Oh, okay. That makes sense considering how common hacked towns are.

That’s a hacked fruit basket. I have a bunch of these. People use them to make millions of bells in just 5 mins. Be careful and don’t try to stack a fruit back to the basket or else it’ll disappear.
