in computer science like everything else you must walk before you can run crawl before you can walk, yeah. It is pretty plain in the same way many fields are at the start. Computer Science has an emphasis on programming the same way creative writing has an emphasis on writing. I really don't think you get anything really cool until you start combining other talents with it.Bulerias said:I have no idea anymore, sadly.
After seeing what music education is like, and what the job market is for an aspiring classical guitarist, I'm definitely not making music my profession. Basically, I need a 4 year degree for sure, and that means dealing with a lot of academic BS and "standards" I don't necessarily agree with. And after I graduate, the only viable job is that of a teacher... definitely not for me.
And now I'm disenchanted with computer science's emphasis on programming (just seems too "dry" to me), so I am honestly not sure what I'm going to end up doing. :\
Whatever you end up specializing in, though, there's still a huge amount of coding involved... and I don't know if that's what I want to do with my life, honestly.Sporge27 said:in computer science like everything else you must walk before you can run crawl before you can walk, yeah.
