Dream address update question

So i have a dream address for my town, i want to update it so bad, but im scared the digits will change. BUT if they do, will the old digits still work and take you to the old update?

Example: I have green trees in my town right now, but I want to update my town in the dream suite to pink trees, but if the digits change, will the OLD digits still take you to the green version of my town?

they do change. it happened to me. also I think it gets deleted I'm not sure, but I can try for you if it changes

The old address will still function, just as the old update. I don't think it should change though?
