Dream Address keeps changing?

I hadn't updated my dream in a while, so I went to Luna last week and updated it, and she gave me a new dream address. I was a bit confused at first, then remembered that I'd seen other posts about it on here, so I didn't mind too much.
However, I just went back today - around a week later - and updated my dream again, and Luna's just given me another new dream address - does anyone know why, and will she keep changing it or will I be able to keep this one? It's also reset the amount of people who have visited my dream back to 0 people, which is also frustrating.

I knew it sometimes changed, but I didn't know it could change more than once :/

I haven't had my address changed yet but have noticed that it doesn't show anyone visiting and I know at least 6 folks have definately dreamed of my town .

To be honest, I don't think anyone knows for sure. I know it changes if you update it in a new 3DS, but I've seen it change for people randomly--even when they update every day. It's really odd

mine changes every time im able to update it. without fail. so theres several version of my town floating around. the old address still works just doesnt get updated.

and i use the same 3ds each time.
