Dragon Quest Heroes will be coming out in Europe and North America in 2015, exclusively for PlayStation 4 and will be available as both boxed physical release and digital download via PlayStation Network.

In Dragon Quest Heroes, the protagonists must rise up against insurmountable odds, challenging swarms of enemies and conquering gigantic monsters in an exhilarating action game. Filled with characters and monsters designed by world-renowned artist Akira Toriyama, Dragon Quest Heroes is brought to the PlayStation?4 in beautiful HD graphics.

Both Yuji Horii, the general director and creator of Dragon Quest, and Koichi Sugiyama, the composer closely tied to the series since its first instalment and creator of countless musical masterpieces instilled in the memory of series fans, are closely involved in bringing this title to life.

Anyone else excited for this?

Looks like my first real reason to consider buying a PS4. ;)

...but then again Xenoblade X and Zelda coming to Wii U. So many games, so little time. :'(

Vaguely excited, yes! There are other titles coming out that I'm looking forward to a bit more that definitely have priority over this one, but I'm always happy when we get a game we didn't originally think we were going to see translated. And for the PS4! Bless. I love it.

ooOOOOH MY GOD *diarrheas self* I want this so bad. Hurry the hell up when do we get it come on I want a fancy bundle what is going oooonnnnn!!!

Pointless side note; I'm glad they're using the PS4's realism graphics but keeping the overall character style and what not, instead of pulling a Final Fantasy and changing the whole thing because of a new system or things "looking dated". Apples and oranges I know but it's what came to my mind ~_~

I'm gonna cry. All I want is Dragon Quest 7.

Think of it this way: this is a great first step. If this sells well, it lets them know that there is indeed a market for Dragon Quest outside of Japan and they'll consider localizing more.
