Double Posting

Ok, so this isn't really a big issue but I thought of a way to solve this problem.

Just make it so that you can't post twice in a row? Like have a barrier which doesn't let you post twice unless someone else has posted. Then people would know to only edit their posts?

(This will probably turn out to be a bad idea or it's unable to do this, but oh well~)

I don't exactly see what's wrong with double-posting as long as people don't use it like a chat room instead of a forum. In which case, this is what mods are for.

Yeah I don't think that's gonna happen. A good thought but there will probably be more issues than solutions.

This isn't really needed, like Jason said, as long as it's not used as a chat room it's fine.

I dont care really. Depends on there reason to post twice really. I haven't had any problems with double posting.

I depend on being able to double post for art and megathreads. This would bother the hell out of me.

Because of the post limit, some threads may actually require people to double or even triple post. However, you can't double post
"on accident" because there is the forced delay between posting. You have to wait, what, fifteen seconds before you can post again? When people are just triple+ posting just to add to their comment, then yea, that's a problem.

And I take Zr388's point, that would be a problem. OK, looks like this turned out to be a fail idea after all.
