YES. I have been desperate to move out Ken, I NEED him gone gone gone gone GONE!! He tried to ping me when I initially tried the ignoring method and I had a gold watering can in my hand and watered instead of talked to him and I missed my ONE CHANCE. Now I've had him for over a month and it's driving me NUTS. Several other villagers have moved out since, but not him D:<

Flora would just not ping. Everyone pinged at least twice before she even did once. I like her, but it was very frustrating and made me like her less

Maple did that to me. I had to tt way to far into the future to get her out.

Yeah it's annoying af. This happened a long time ago as well. I tried to get Shari to move but she just didn't want to ping me, so I gave up, after roughly 4 hours.

LITERALLY everyone (but Fauna and Marshal, for some reason) has pinged me now!! I am SICK and TIRED of this!

Oh yes I remember Roscoe being the first villager I ever had trouble moving out....and then Lolly a couple of months ago. Just everybody except her pinged to leave at least twice, some of them even asked multiple times.
When she finally pinged and I agreed for her to go she even had the nerve to change her mind. So obviously I just quite without saving and tt'd to her moving day. I so wish it was easier to decide who moves in and out in this game

Yes, I wanted to get rid of Phoebe but I couldn't because literally anyone but her would ask me to move out. It took me a while to get rid of her...
