Does your parents confiscated or ban you...

No... My parents know I need my devices for schoolwork.. and they trust me to use them at the right time.
On the other hand, my sister gives her phone and DS to my dad every school night XD

Yes. Our parents are from the same country, so same principles apply. :(

It sucks, so I just sneak to use my gadgets.

No.

When I was like 10 my mom took my DS at night to make sure I wasn't up all night playing it. But I'm 17 now so yeah.

I'm 12 and my parents take everything away from me :(((((((((

I remember when I was 9 and got banned from Moshi monsters my parents never let me on again (even though my ban lasted a month) and took my laptop off me for 2 months. They usually give in though because I'm too fabulous and they can't take it.
I got banned because these people were swearing and I didn't know what they were saying and I got banned for saying them around the forum. Coincidentally my best friend from that forum went on another forum I discovered two years ago, and she may be joining here too ahaha.

They used to confiscate when I was younger.
Once I had a really bad grade in maths and when my dad found out he stormed into my room, took my gameboy advance SP that I was playing and smashed it against the wall. It had my pokemon emerald game in it. I was shattered. ;o;

I lied to my mom I lost my 3DS she is looking for it right now I did this because I don't want to sleep early lol she only confiscate my 3DS not my phone xD

If I don't do my homework my parents will confiscate anything that they think will be a punishment(like taking away my xbox 360 mic from me). It's annoying. In my opinion strict parents will make naughty children when they grow up. My friend at school isn't allowed any sweets/candy at home and whenever she comes round my house she always eats too much because she knows she can't eat them at home.

The only time they ever banned me from electronics EVER was for a weekend. I supposedly told a lie. (It wasn't a lie.) I told my mom that one of my friends broke my stylus. She didn't let me finish. He wasn't a very careful friend. It had already started to break in the morning. What "it" refers to is the Pokemon that was on top of the stylus. Let my friend hold it, tell him to be VERY careful, leave the room to get some water, return, hear "your stylus broke".

They would ban me from my N64 or PC if I was misbehaving, otherwise I'd have time restrictions on everything in the first place. An hour a day online when I got older, no computer on weekends, that sort of thing.

My parents also can't trust me with my internet so it turns off for me from 10pm to 7am the next day :(

They didn't confiscate anything when I was younger. When I was in high school I barely had anything and I enjoyed reading books more. After that I needed them for school and they helped me relax. My grades never suffered under them either, so it wasn't necessary.

If I get in trouble my electronics are taken away for usually the rest of the day. Then I am bored. Then I regret being stupid enough to make my parents angry enough to do so. But then I get mad that I am so bored. And I feel like being more annoying!

Our school has iPads, but they aren't necessary for school really, because only 2 classes use them. History, only for the text book which we barely use now, and Spanish, which is only for answering these quick daily questions in class, and writing down our answers for listening activities. Nothing much at all for at-home use. I got the tech guy to download the textbook on my own personal iPad too, so I don't use the schools iPad at all... only my own, which makes it really easy to distract myself from homework and class. xD Usually, you will see me playing Infinity Blade III during class, yet I somehow still maintain a 90+ in all my classes.

My friends mom is extremely strict and when my friend's at school he always curses and does weird things so yes I have to agree with this ;-;

Nope.
I paid for my games, internet, computer, etc. Can't take away that which I own. :P
