I'm trying to get mannequins from the sewing shop, does time traveling affect the sister where I need to talk to her every day and the other one where I buy something for 31 days?

Nope, just make sure for the QR machine you don't miss any days, cause then you have to start from the beginning again.
The 31 days can be any days though ~ and I also thought it was 31 items, not 31 days, but I could be wrong there.

Are you sure? I kind of remember having a character who talked to her on non-consecutive days, and I got the QR machine fine. :?

Pretty sure as I missed a day twice on my new town and the day after she went back to saying, '.......' Though when I did unlock it I thought I'd missed a day not long before, but I think it's more likely I just forgot. (was TTing alot then)
Also I didn't talk to her the day the QR machine appeared in my alt town and then had a week where I could see it, but she wouldn't let me use it. <_<;
