Does this look good?

For some reason this random pond oasis I attempted to make here is starting to bug. I mean, I know its probably not easy to tell by just pictures but does it look good or am I just going crazy for no reason?
Also suggestions are welcome if you have any for this area.

Yeah, I was thinking about putting a yellow bench somewhere in there and maybe the wind turbine.

Oh some good ideas. Yeah I see the wind turbine looking good there. Unfortunately I havent gotten the log bench yet. Hopefully it will be suggested soon because I also want to put one in my camping area.

I don't like yellow/red flower combinations, it reminds me of fast food and looks a little too clashing. I used to have a lot of those arrangements, and they started to vaguely irk me in a similar way recently so I wonder if that's it.

I toned mine down by replacing reds with pinks. I think yellow pansies and pink tulips/bushes with the yellow bench would be really cute. : )

Thats probably why I am getting eh about it. It does remind me of the McDonalds logo. Ill try other combinations and see if that eh feeling is still there.
Ill probably try yellows, white and oranges. I would do red and white but that would remind me too much of a candy cane.

I’d say it looks fine, especially because the bushes are also red and yellow. My suggestion would be to play around with different types of red and yellow flowers to see which ones look the best. Also, orange pansies are a pretty red and yellowy flower if you want a little more variety

I like the area. Maybe cutting one of the trees to make a stump to sit on would be nice. Add the mushrooms in the area as they spawn.

I personally like it. I think your trees and bushes are in good spots. I think by surrounding the pond with trees, it makes for a very cute secluded area. I think it's perfect the way it is, actually.

The only thing I might do is swap out the persimmon and cherry trees (and plant those somewhere else) and add more mango trees, since they have the same red and yellow coloring.

Oh I never really thought of making stumps. Good idea. Oh and mushrooms are a good touch, I have to wait until November for them to spawn though.

Thank you. Yeah, I mean, I was happy with it too, and I still am but I think the problem is what people pointed out and I didnt realize it because the colors clashed. I didnt change it too much, I added orange pansies, and moved the yellow flowers up to where the white floweres are and chopped down a tree and made a stump, and this is the result







its still counted as secluded, just less clashy. lol

those are lychees lol, people often confuse those two fruits. But to be fair, you can barely see them in those pictures. They look alike. Hmm, Mango trees might look better than the lychee trees.

To the people who liked it how it was, I liked it too until it started annoying me. I tried not to change it TOO much. Like the people who liked the red and yellow combo, I do have those combos in other areas in my town, particular around my retail so not all hope is lost with that color combo.

By the way rare stumps have a chance to spawn mushrooms all year so if you have a silver axe use that.
