Does My Game Have a Glitch???

I am new to the AC franchise so perhaps I'm overreacting, however, according to what I have learned from others I'm not so sure!

My TIY opened on 10/28/13 and I had my first visit from Gracie Grace on 11/12/13.

It's been 34 days since Gracie's visit and 49 days since TIY reopened. Comments from others indicate it takes a minimum of 30 days and you must spend at least 100,000.00 bells, I know I have spent well over 100,000.00 and I have exceeded the 30 day minimum. And then there is the 34 days since Gracie Grace's last visit. 34 Days, REALLY???

So my question; has anyone here had to wait this long?

I started playing in July and only got Gracie once... it takes a really long time for her to come.

Do you time travel? That can mess up Gracie's appearing schedule. She usually shows up ONCE (on a RANDOM day) a week after spending 70000 bells at TIY. I completed all four fashion checks in four weeks

Yeah, it sounds annoying to get him to appear XD I don't think I've passed the 30 day part even with TTing.

Oh and your TIY doesn't have to be open for at least 30 days for Gracie to show up. Maybe I should clarify:

Conditions for Gracie to show up (once a week):
- Upgrade to TIY
- Spend 70 000 bells at TIY

Conditions to upgrade to Emporium:
- TIY must be open for at least 30 days
- You must have spent 100 000 bells at TIY
- You must have passed FOUR fashion checks from Gracie

And Gracie may not appear every week, either; depending on events, other visitors and just randomness. The wait between my 1st and 2nd visits was at least 4 weeks.

for me gracie has always appeared in the morning before 12
usually before I went to class, it was weird lol

It took Gracie 5 weeks to show up the last time. Overall, it took almost 2 months from visit 1 to visit 4.

Gracie visited so seldom-ly for me. Really, I think I got Pete like every week. But seeing Redd or Gracie, it was so rare!

I will keep checking the plaza every morning, hopefully one of these days she will show up. I don't TT so it may be a long wait!
