Does bringing in an amiibo villager reset the thought bubble?

Title^ (the 2 week thought bubble cooldown from letting a villager go)

I wanted to wait to move in all the villagers I dont have amiibos for before farming some NMT with my popular cards, but with some recent events that we won't talk about the NMT value is officially hyper inflated. Given I still need a ton of expensive items + need to pay for Dom somehow, I figured I'd start.

The only thing holding me back is I don't want to do all this mass time traveling and then have to do another round of it with getting specific villagers to move out. Ideally, the two can happen together so I can do all my time traveling in one go.

Thanks!

I had a villager ask to move out the day after I moved in an amiibo villager, so I don't think that affects the bubble, surprisingly. this is just anecdotal tho

this would be the perfect situation :O

Amiibos and campsites have no affect on the move out timer. If you end up inviting one the same day someone moves out, only one villager will be in boxes and the other one will wait a day.

To add strength to this anecdotal evidence - the same thing happened to me :)
