Does anyone play on the original (small) 3ds?

I'm planning to buy one for my sister, I'm just worried will the screen be too small to enjoy the game? Thanks.

I have one and I use it to play my 2 Animal Crossing games and mostly Alpha Sapphire, its not that too small don't worry.

I do. I actually prefer to play it on my regular system than on my XL. I have small hands so that's partially why. But I also like how the resolution looks on the smaller system. The XL and the regualr share the same resolution so they look the same on each system, just obviously the XL is bigger.

I do! It doesn't bother me at all and I played on a XL too. Of course the screen is much bigger but it doesn't affect the game and experience in any way, imho

I don't really enjoy big screens, the original 3DS is lighter and fits on my (tiny) hands much better! Maybe ask her? Though I think she'll be happy with either, it's an amazing gift no matter which one!

When I played the game obsessively it was on the original 3DS. Until I actually got an XL I was plenty happy with the smaller screens.

I'd recommend buying it in february, as that's when the pricing of the old 3ds modules will drop significantly

@Monkey D Luffy: It's not coming out in all countries. If that's the new 3DS, it's not coming to America.

The 3DS is actually nicer than the XL, it's more handheld. Just don't get the 2DS, whatever you do, those things are cheesy.

I have it. I play all my games on it, and I still find the game very enjoyable. I find the 3DSXL to be too bulky to maximize enjoyment, but that's probably because I'm used to it. Realistically though, if you're going for the 3D feature, just get a 2DS and save the 40 bucks.
