for me, i like morning musume, c-ute, Berryz Koubou, country girls, akb48, ske48... stuff like that 🄳

I'm not really a J-Pop listener, but I do like Japanese music from anime. Does that make sense at all? Lol.

I really like the jazz/funk/rap style that some of those songs have! Currently I'm mostly listening to ALI (Their "lost in paradise" is one I'm putting on at least ones a day ._. ), Hikaru Utada and Kenshi Yonezu. Mostly the mainstream ones for now, I guess... I'm always open to new suggestions that fit those style of music (The more hardrock/metal bands aren't really my thing personally)

I used to be a big fan if the genre but not so much anymore. I only really listen to Jin Akanishi nowadays.

I don’t listen to music anymore but if i did, I’d still listen to some songs I downloaded. I have T.M. Revolution - a few gundam seed destiny songs (didn’t watch it myself but got loved some of of their songs), Reason - Nami Tamaki, Just Communication - two-mix, ready steady go - l’arc en ciel, and others. been wanting to get some of the attack on titan openers since i like revo from Bravely Default (the first one) and the openings are great :). So as you can see, I like a bunch of individual songs. My favorite has to be Getsurenka from Shadow Hearts covenant; not sure who the artist was. :) such a beautiful song

I don’t know if it really counts, but I love Vocaloid music! My favorite producers are Hachi, DECO*27, Mitchie M, and PinocchioP :)

What's the popular JPOP nowadays? I was into boybands and whatever anime songs introduced me to pop groups back in high school, but I definitely lean more toward J-Rock or punk. My all time favorite band was ELLEGARDEN (they have some English tracks, too!); too bad they disbanded. They had a similar sound to Asian Kung Fu Generation. I remember buying a BoA CD back in the day, only to realize that she was actually an export from Korea, and that was my gateway into KPOP.

I'm more into J-Rock/Metal and Visual Kei typically, but I do listen to a lot of anime opening and ending themes. Some of those definitely fall more into the J-Pop genre. The only group I can think of off the top of my head that I have on my playlist is ClariS.

I really love some of the older anime openings like from Magic Knight Rayearth and Vision of Escaflowne.

Ahh i don’t know many of the members actually, but I did know Juri, who’s now a member of the girl group Rocket Punch! I’m a big fan of her!

oh yeah, i knew her... :>
but i didn't know about her becoming a member of rocket punch... that's news to me :>the group name as well, didn't know about that one :>

I do like some 1960s/early1970s "showa pop" as well as some older and newer Johnny's Entertainment bands(up to 2000s basically), otherwise not really.
