Just so you know.... coconut trees can only grow by the beach.

Hey, if anyone's native fruit ISNT pears please add me! I am trying to build up an Orchard but its really hard cos i only have a few friends Also if anyone has any tips on growing coconut trees please let me know!

Coconuts only grow in the soil at the beach. Not the sand, but the brown soil right at the edge of the sand. I found that mine grow better on one side of town than on the other so try that and see if you have any luck! Since they only bear two fruit I just kept planting until I had had plenty of trees before I sold any coconuts. :veryhappy:

when people say coconut trees only grow on the edge of grass/sand I think their wrong. I have a palm tree right next to my house, which is like three "squares" away from the sand. that weird or what?

you can plant them up to 7 squares away from the ocean, so nah, it's not weird.

and if anyone needs any fruit, i have tons of trees with all the fruits, so just let me know and i'll let you come in and take a bunch before i sell them for the day. i have tons of trees that grow fruit each day, so just PM me. =)
