Does anyone else think this might be true?

So I was on Isabelle's Wikipedia and I came across this and decided to screenshot it. I just found it kinda nice that she might have a crush on your character, regardless of gender. It doesn't really surprise me though, New Leaf is a pretty accepting game after all. That's probably the main reason why I love it so much :)

Oh yeah, I got a feeling this was the case when you bring her some shells. She gets all embarrassed because you thought of her, it's so cute.

Yea I heard that a while ago. Isabelle is precious when she's not making PWP placement torturous as hell.

Aw man that's really sweet. All the villagers use "they" pronouns anyway, so it would make sense for them to be gender neutral in that too!

She's in love with your mayor? Even if your mayor is a girl? What were Nintendo thinking?

Oh, totally. I've always had that vibe from her.

Ah, that's really cute! I probably couldn't reject her if she decided to confess. I just hope I could do right by her. ////

Maybe I'm in the minority but I think she's just a shy person who wants to do good by her Mayor, the valentines seems like she was just offering a kind gesture, has anyone else done that? I always give chocolates to my close friends and family on Valentines, I don't make it mutually conclusive to the person I am interested in lol.

Maybe that's just my interpretation^_^

Awww! Isabelle x Female Mayor would be so cute!

So you are saying that bisexual characters (if Isabelle is even one) can't exist in Nintendo games? Lazy villagers in the GameCube game will sometimes mention that they love the player if it's raining and they are happy even if the player is male.

Anyways, Isabelle can be a really good character when she isn't constantly saying "you can't place X here because it's too close to Y" (e.g X being a fire hydrant and Y being a freaking rock or bridge).

I think this too. She's just shy and nice, your character is far away from home, and to me she acts like a second mother. Always caring and nice to try to make you feel at home. But I think anyone can give their own interpretation to this game and to villagers behaviours, and this is one of the magic things in AC!

Hmm, I'm not sure, certainly pleasant to your face, but have you noticed what she says on the train when you are updating to 1.4 - she comes across to your character and tells you that the owner of the camp site came to her for permission to build the campsite etc. She definitely is the one in charge, the mayor is just the one that has to find the funds.
I'm joking, its a game & I love playing; that I don't make the rules is OK, sort of.
