yikes!
i've literally never seen one on my island, but celeste has been to my island at least twice. I wish they were more common

Celeste is still present if you tt back to the same day.Same here. I only found a day some time in July while TTing to move villagers out. It seems like that there are specific dates where there would be meteor showers since some people mention how they always get it when they time travel to the same day. I wonder if anything has been changed this update to prevent this from being abused though since I saw how someone mentioned that you can no longer travel to past dates to have an npc be present in your town when they were present on that day.
but don't you hear the shooting star before you see it? i've been listening for that cue at night and haven't heard any.I think whenever Celeste shows up, a meteor shower will definitely appear. The problem is the frequency of the showers. Once I saw 2 stars and nothing for the rest of the night....and I missed them because I was terraforming. So you might be having them but missing them, as they can be quite sneaky.
I was talking about particularly when Isabelle announces the shower in the morning announcement since only a few shooting stars appear when there is no announcement. Did get Celeste though, but only a few shooting stars.Celeste is still present if you tt back to the same day.
Meteor showers too I think I saw some shooting stars in the sky but I'm not sure if that was the shower or just luck.
i've had three meteor showers and had the game since launch, i don't think i've ever heard of a shooting star before! i just go to a clear area of my island and look up at the sky, i can usually wish for like 2 hours before i get bored and move on - and usually get around 10-20 star fragments the next day.but don't you hear the shooting star before you see it? i've been listening for that cue at night and haven't heard any.
I think there is a cue but I'm usually not paying attention lol. What I meant about the frequency is some people will get near constant amount of stars (which has never happened for me) and some might get like, 2 stars a night. If night is like, 7 pm to 5 am and you've missed those 2, it would seem like there's no shower at all. Which stinks.but don't you hear the shooting star before you see it? i've been listening for that cue at night and haven't heard any.
