Does anyone else just follow their villagers around and watch them?

I do that everyday.

Making interesting game screenshots is my addiction. I'm always waiting for something to happen. Sometimes I try to anticipate what my residents will do and I set up my camera, then hunker down and wait for them to walk into my shot. A lot of the time it doesn't pan out. I feel a bit like a wildlife photographer or something. You need to stalk your subject without startling it and you need to have an unseasonable amount of patience.

When I do manage to get a good shot, it feels so satisfying!

I do, especially when they're hanging around areas I've actually decorated. I caught Audie sitting on a log stool I'd placed recently and she got up just as I was about to take a pic of her,,

Sometimes, especially if they're near an area where there are decorations or interactive items. I missed the shot, but I saw Snake checking out the pirate cannon yesterday, and his face when it went off was priceless.

I should really do this more. I feel like I talk to them too much when I want to feel closer to them, which doesn't really help with NH's dialogue issues - I imagine a lot of the closeness does come from the game's strength in their interaction with objects and activities. I wish I let them get on with it more!

I do sometimes. I like how some, like my crankies, act shy at first. Chief at first sang like crazy but then when I got close, would stop like he’s self conscious. Now he doesn’t care if I follow him around. I like how some really seem entranced by bugs or butterflies. I really find it charming.

YES
I love catching them talking to each other. I have Rhonda and Merengue and I like to think they're best friends

to add to that, I also like watching them chase bugs

I do this sometimes.... and then I'm given the look lol. I don't even need a camera for villagers to run from me. If they don't run from me they refuse to do anything cute or resume what they were previously doing.

I feel like I 'stalk' more with newer villagers that I'm still 'in awe' over; for example, after several weeks of campsite method for Chow, I still can't believe he's there, on my island. Even two+ weeks later I'm still occasionally 😮

I do this too. I especially enjoy seeing my non-music hobby villagers singing so, I have the tendency to stop and watch them for a few minutes when I see someone like Kiki or Punchy singing. When I see them zooming, sometimes I just run along next to them. lol kinda silly but i enjoy it when I have nothing to do.

I do this constantly too! They’re so cute and I love taking pictures of their little moments 💕

I do that a lot. It's more of observing my villagers doing stuff if anything, not stalking them. A few times, I've listened to my villagers singing at the plaza for at least half an hour!

If I love the villager a lot I do. I also talk to them out loud and give them more personality than they actually do and I’m not ashamed. My roommates enjoy it when I do it, they think it’s entertaining.

I like to stalk my villagers who are having a convo and see if one of them gets mad lol

me lmao. i follow marshal around sometimes to watch his tail bounce up and down while he's walking. it's literally so cute and i love it whenever he just stops whatever he's doing to randomly bust out into a song. absolute cutie.

Yes, especially when they whip out a snack. I love seeing them plop down on the floor or a bench and start chowing down it's so cute.

Yes, I do that all the time! I look at my villagers to see what they are doing. I take pictures of their activities often.

yes i do as well! and by this point i usually decide its time to take a break LOL
