Does anybody know how to fix a flute? :/

I'm not calling anybody an idiot. I'm just saying that they're ridiculously expensive.

Well if your not gonna be any help, please just lurk. I need to fix it by Monday. If I can't find out the problem, I will just take it to a repair shop.

Shes right adam, instruments are expensive, I recently spent 1000 euro on a fiddle, but I look on it as more of an investment, cos itll last me for many a year

Maybe one of the valves is broken? I believe flutes have valves.

Yeah, I used to play the recorder. It sounded a bit like I was slowly killing an opera singer.

Take it to a specialist, make sure whoever broke it will pay or the repairs, its gonna take a while as well

Maybe there's something wrong with the valves though.

I say either buy a new one, Or go to a music shop to get it fixed. and get the guy who stepped on it to pay for it.

wow dude ur really soft why didnt u falcon pwanch the guys who did it untill his nose bleed??? anyways i know how 2 fix the problem get a screw driver and then you should see a screw near the Bflat key unscrew it but not all the way then go 2 the C sharp key and unscrew that only a little bit and then go back to Bflat then screw it in tight then try it.If it still messing up then screw all the keys in really tight then buzz ur lips a little then fully blow into it then bam case solved enjoy your flute and punch the person

Err.. since we can't see it in person, it's probably going to be hard to tell you what's wrong. Go to a music store.

It's probably the key pads. Check to make sure theyre not ripped or torn in any way. If they are, then they need to be replaced.

Thats the only thing I can think of. Yeah I played flute and piccolo but I'm not too good with maintanence
