Do you write letters to your villagers?

yes, to my favourites! i do it for the joy of seeing responses (even if they are just ai), raising friendship, getting presents and working towards the badge. it also makes me feel like i have more of a friendship with the villager.

I do! I think its super cute when i get responses back from them as well. I usually only send mail to my favorites, but if i even see something in store or get something from a tree that I dont really need but a villager would like (bc it fits their personality or room decor), I send it to them with a note! Its a win win because friendship is raised and also sometimes villagers send back presents with things i like!

I have been trying to get non native fruit from mine by writing letterts of 2 lines requesting a particular fruit. I haven't gotten any back in a letter but I have gotten some from villagers handing me a fruit. (this might have nothing to do with the letters I have been sending) In WW you could get non native fruits pretty easily by requesting in a letter. I miss that!

I do when it's an initiative or if they've pinged to move out so I try to persuade them to stay haha.

Otherwise, I'm not crazy about letter writing.

I use to do it a lot, (hence why I've so many response letters that are filling up my saved mails, help) but I haven't done it in a while, which saddens me as well, I love their responses and their quirky ways that you can tell in the letter.
Since I have so many, I had to type them all up to save them and keep only ones that I love. I'll get back into writing again real soon.

I sort of despise how long it takes to type in AC so I try to do weekly letters to all my permanents, usually on the weekend, with a present they either favour according to the gift guide or something that would suit their home. I've also started sticking the date at the end of each letter so if they're shown to me by the animal, I can see when I wrote it and just how long animals keep letters for.

It's rare when I send a letter. Usually when I see a nice letter design or I was invited to my villager's house. I enjoy AI relationships / so simple.

If I really want them to change their interior, I'll send them items I know they'll like along with letters. Hey, most of the time they send a letter back with a cool gift, and I'm fine with that.
