Do you write letters to your neighbors?

I was thinking about that the other day. Writing letters to the neighbors in Animal Crossing New Leaf can be such a great wait to pass the time. Not only...
-You can get the Letter Badges.
-Be better friend of your neighbors.
I think with a little imagination, you can write such funny things.

Example... I like to write Kid Cat like a Super Hero: "Kid Cat, Shep is in danger, he get stuck in a tree (again)". I know, kind of weird, but i like the way we can interact with the Villagers with some imagination from us.

What about you? You write?

Not anymore since I got all the fruit (in letters).
Sometimes I do, if I'm bored. ^_^

I've written a few letters to my villagers just to get to know them a bit better and so they'll send something back. I also use letters to give gifts to them if I see something I think would fit in with their house really well. I never send anything too long though given that no-one is actually reading them.

Yeah I do. That was my first golden badge when I started to play. I like making my first letters really funny when a villager moves in so when they go, "Hey mayor, do you remember this letter!" I can laugh at it.

I usually try to write letters everyday to my favorite villagers and I pretend that I'm actually writing to someone even though it doesn't matter. Like one of my favorites is Peewee. I treat him like he's my personal Hitman.

Vague example:

"Hey Peewee,

Can you do me a favor? I need you to take out both Aurora and Tammi as soon as possible. It'd be best after midnight when no one is awake. Report to me behind The Roost when the deed is done.

XOXO, Boss"

I didn't know you can get fruit you don't have from the letters. Sometimes i get thrones or Toilets haha.

it's strange, i do write to my cub friends but only in infrequent bursts. i'm always either writing frequent letters or none at all. right now it's the latter. i feel guilty about it, but i really don't know what to write to them about.

Right now me and Shep are shooting love letters back and forth at each other...it's quite fun to make up cheesy letters!

I used to write a lot. Feels as if I've read all the possible replies do I foot write much anymore. Plus when I learned about "the void" I had even less incentive to write letters, since jo n one would see them if a villager moves out. Used to b live reading the letters people wrote in WW.

i write letters, but only to my favourite villagers mostly. i do it to increase friendship and work towards the badge!

Well, sometimes Shep doesn't send a love letter back. But, he does send me love letters lol! At least I interpret them that way. I like his flirtyness with my character.
