I know this subject has been brought up a lot, but I'm really curious! Do you TT? Why do you TT? Events? Because there isn't more to do that day?

I personally only TT if I missed an event, or if I haven't played for a while and I want to go back day by day. Or if I missed the shops opening hours or something like that. Although that might change in my second town.

How much do you TT? Years? Days? Do you have turnip problems? xD

I do! I can't play without TT-ing because it gets boring.. I guess I'm super impatient and I just want to see my town grow faster. I guess once i finish planning my town, i'll not TT as much and spend more quality time with villagers.

I don't like TT'ing because it gets boring otherwise. The only time I TT'ed was like 2 days ago because I picked up a villager from Streetpass and it ruined my town, and I TT'ed to kick out another villager I didn't want.. I've been trying to obtain my dreamies in the meantime, so once I do I'll get rid of that villager.

I have been lately....I said I was going to stop after I u locked the majority of the shops but I've continued to try and get my dreamies. Only one left to get now.
I have been using it for Katrina too seeing as she takes ages to open her shop and she doesn't come every week (for me anyway). I really didn't want to make another 3 charecters when there's no space in my town for the houses to go, even temporarily. I'm up to about 10 fortunes now so I'll probably just wait out the rest. Not sure if I'll continue time travel after I've got my last dreamie....wouldn't want to risk losing them. I would probably still do a day or two ahead and then back to the present day. Also time travel to the evening quite a lot of I want to go to the island to make bells.

Sometimes. I'll TT a few hours back if it's late and I didn't get a chance to play the whole day. Or if there was an event like Festivale where there's items to win, but not enough time to win them. I wish I could play my 3DS all day to avoid running out of time. xD

When my town was first starting out, I'd also TT to unlock shop upgrades or build my PWPs faster.

Trying to keep TTing for my cycle town only now and not my main towns.

I'm going to go with never because I have only ever time traveled once and have had the game for what, three years now? I was picking up a villager so that the person who was holding her for me could get the villager they wanted. I only moved it forward and back by about 7 hours anyway just to make the day pass. Other than that, I really prefer not to time travel. I want to play the game "naturally."

Lately I have been trying to move out a certain villager to get my last dreamie, but they just won't move! I usually time travel when I'm bored and have lots of time; I don't do that as frequently anymore since I'm trying to be friend all my villagers and be good/best friends xD

I TT all the time. I usually set the clock to the start of the day(no matter what hour I start the game at) and then do what I wanna do before I TT forward to the evening to catch some beetles. If I still wanna play I TT to the next day and do the whole thing over again haha

Not to mention my cycle village where I generally jump 2 months forward, enter and save, two months forward, enter and save, and then 5 days forward just so I can always get someone in boxes.

So I voted for "If I feel bored..." because I felt like that was the most honest answer that applied to me. Let me explain:

I have two towns. One town I try to keep "natural", and try to follow the day-to-day timeline pretty strictly. I know that I've TT'd in the past with my "main/natural" town, so I assume that I will do it again with this one. However, I don't usually TT more than one day at a time in my "main/natural" town.

In my second town, I cycle for villagers I want to put into my main town. So when I get bored/find time to cycle, I TT skipping ahead about three days at a time until a villager pings me to move. Then TT to that date, and repeat. I try to cycle fast so I can get the most out of my time spent. (:

I haven't bought turnips since I got the gold badge, but I do NOT reccomend TTing while you have a locker full of those profitable roots. You can really back yourself into a corner by TTing forward to Saturday and not being able to TT back (because they all instantly rot - not fun).

in one of my towns i always tt to the next day wheni m done with one day, but in my other town i played day by day for months until i put the game to the side for some weeks. now i'm trying to get back to the real date by tt:ing day by day haha ;;

I always tell to myself that I should only TT for really important situations like missing a holiday or catching up store hours. I need to learn more about TT, villagers usually move out (and it's hard to keep track who are going to leave) and unwanted flowers keep on scattering all over my town :\

I generally only TT when I'm plotresetting or want a villager out immediately.

When I first got NL, no, mostly because I didn't play enough in the day anyway. Now though, if I start my town over, I will usually set the date a good 20 days before the present.
Then play those 20 days. So I can get up to speed with the game again rather than having to wait days just to get PwP, ordinances and such.

I always tt. Usually when I sit down to play, I go through an entire week or so at a time. That way, I have time to see everyone, write and receive letters, visit multiple homes, garden and find out if anyone is moving. With five towns, I find it to be the best way for me to play.

I only TT for plot resetting or if I've missed an event. I did TT for a bit in the past when I first got the game to experience other seasons because I was impatient and didn't want to wait to see them, but I found out playing that way leads me to playing for very long sessions then burning out on the game. So playing "naturally" suits me better.

I'm going to be starting a temporary cycling town soon though, so obviously I'll be TTing in that one a lot, but once I'm done cycling with it I'll switch to my normal play style.

I do sometimes because sometimes I usually only play late in the day so I usually go back a few hours so I can actually see my villagers.

i tt for several reasons.

if the shops close before i can see what's in them, i'll tt back to when they're still open.

if i didn't water my flowers on one day, i'll tt back a day to water them so i don't lose any.

if it's been a while since i last played in a town and i feel like playing there again, i'll tt back to the last time i played in that town so i don't lose any villagers.

i haven't been doing any plot resetting in pearlsey yet, but i voted for the 'only for plot resetting' option anyway because i'll probably end up having to tt when i do begin plot resetting.
